Yep,just got a type r lip for my teg,only cost me 20 bucks.
It needs a little sanding and TLC,but its in good condition.
Can’t see it all that good with the cam,but its got Japanese righting on it,wish it wasn’t sitting outside like it was.
Hate to burst your bubble, it’s made in Taiwan.
I was looking around and thought this same thing,but how can you tell the fakes from the real ones? Ether way,it was one hell of a deal tho.
There’s no type r Da so there’s no type r lip. It’s called type r “style” like almost every other ebay lip out there

The guy i got off from said it came off his XSI he crashed and said it was real,i did some more looking around and see that there are no “TRUE” R lips for the 090/91.
O well,i still got a great deal.
I also seen some forums saying the true ones have honda numbers on them,but this one has the sticker that you can’t read. Thanks.

it’s the center section that makes it look so weird. if it was filled in it would be so much nicer.

I’m not planning on keeping it,ill be working on my other lip and cleaning up this one and selling it.
Here are the day pics. If i keep it,ill be cutting the corner parts up top so its not so big,that should make it look way better.
Hey, your re-chrome teg tip on your headlights looks good btw. You didn’t do the side markers? They look darker.
I’d say get rid of that lip. I think a JDP lip will look 100% better. To each his own though.
same type r “style” lip they sell on ebay man no such thing as a real type r lip for our da’s. imo the other lip u had before looks 10x better than this one.
i like it, just because i have one, lol. but i painted it the same color as my car, so it doesnt stand out as much
