Hello all, I actually just found this forum while trying to find a good build for my DA. I posted some pictures of her for you guys, unfortunately they’re the only pictures I have. She has a B16A swap with basic bolt-ons and a good base level tune. I’m debating on either running a turbo set up or starting an all motor build, my buddy at work is a firm believer in all motor since Honda’s never came with a turbo. So we’re bashing heads currently. Just ordered some Buddy Club wheels and going to get some tires ordered up. I would love to get back into autocross and hope to make a good DD that can have some fun on the track as well!
a turbo is easy horsepower but I do like the all engine build to. well hell u could always do both.
Welcome!
If you’re going for DD with occasional autoX and/or track days then I’d definitely recommend staying all motor. Unless you’re at a really high level it’ll be easier to improve your skills if you don’t have a lot of power masking your abilities. I’d keep the engine as stock as possible and put my time and money into making the car safe and reliable, then just focus on suspension, tires and learning to drive on track. Oh, and don’t forget safety equipment
