Just lowered DB1 Rear sits much lower any ideas?

Hey everyone i just finished lowering my 91 4 door with nuespeed springs and tokico blues… not really interested in people telling me why i shouldnt have used blues or what not . to say the least i am even surprised with how it rides, i was just going cheap, but anyway the rear is tucking basicly… and the front is at a nice stance. Anyway i wasnt sure if anyone had ANY idea why the rear might sit so much lower, i had read on here awhile back that the 4 doors do sit lower int he rear bc they tend to weigh a little more int he rear… but wasn’t sure, any suggestions would be helpful. The trailing arm bushings r completely blown also, but will be replaced this week. i thought that could maybe affect it to but again i was sure, thanks in advance for the help

hey i was running the whole tokico blue set up and i had the same problem
dont know what caused it but i would like to know also
so i slammed my car on coils

one more reason why i dont like tokico blews.

yea well i know the trailing arm bushings r totallys hot, so i know thats having an affect on it… but there must be something else… this week i plan to do more searching and checking stuff… so will c…
I don’ts ee why everyone ahtes blues though… there really not bad i mean for hte money… i didn’t buy them expected koni’s or antying, there just mean tobe a good replacement for oem shock…

agree they ride pretty smooth on the coils that i got on

maybe the rear shocks are the same part number as a crx. which i think 1.5 inches shorter. correct me if im wrong… thats what my bro has on his teg and he’s tuckin almost rim in the rear.

this could be true man but the car is sitting now, and the blues wil be for sale soon as im just gona go to a fullc oilover instead, somethin gi should have done fromt he begingine

Its an elusion. The rear fenders are lower than the front fenders. Thats the way honda made them.

To make them even:

  1. coilovers
  2. The stock springs come with rubber shims. Use those to raise the rear a little. There at the very top of the stock springs.

Agreed. Its just the way the front and rear fenders differ. So lowering the rear a little bit makes it look really low.

I lowered my car with sportlines -1.8f -1.5r and the rear still looks lower.

Btw its ILLUSION
