I found and saved gsr #684 from rice hell. got it for 1200 bucks came with the o.g b17 however no tranny and a spun rod bearing. The guy also ruined the gauge cluster trying to put white faces on…queer. I’m happy i got it I had to convince the guy to take it off eBay but in return had to pay the full 1200, i felt that was a little steep considering its practicably a shell with a ton of half assed work done to it but oh well…I got a db2. I’m tossing options around about rebuilding the b17 or dropping in the .040 bored 1.8 gsr block ive got paired with over sized type r pistons and use the b17 head. what do you guys think. I also have a jdm b16 with a gsr head that’s already assembled with less than 10,000 miles on it. as far as the tranny in got a hydro gsr with the innovative hydro to cable conversion. A lot of options here. That setup will be coming from my totaled da. It made 148 to the wheels all motor and 229 on a 50 shot. I sold the nitrous setup to help pay for the build. Nitrous was fun but highly unpredictable and was kinda a headache. heres some pics.
