Just some little tips for the one pieces...

Just thought this might be helpful to some of you…
here are two tips:

  1. For those of you who are missing the harnesses for the one pieces you can use these Female Disconnects:

  1. For those of you who don’t want (or don’t have the material) to solder the wires when rewiring the one pieces you can use these wire connectors. That way if you ever have to remove the headlights from the car for whatever the reason is you just have to unscrew the connectors.

LOL Babak… I thought I was the only one with those female spade connectors on my headlights/foglights!

You can also use universal H4 connectors!

yeah, thats what i did. go to discount auto parts and pick up 2 h4 harnesses. they’re only a couple $ a piece. they work perfect!!

Cool B, you are officially the man. Congrats!

for those of you who hate to splice into the stock wiring…here’s a very simple idea you can do to avoid splicing. on the stock connector (stock 9004 plug) where the electrical contacts are, there are these little plastic tabs holding them down so that you cant pull the wires out. get a small paper clip or something small to poke the tabs up and pull on the corresponding wire…it should come out with ease if the tabs are pushed up correctly. once the wire comes out, connect the end with the corresponding color coded wires from the 1pcs wiring harness. use plenty of electrical tape to shield the connection to prevent any chance of short circuits. repeat with the other two wires and the other side. same thing applies with the stock fog connectors too.
