The manual is there too. It says how to remove it if you want.

The unit has preamp outputs already. 2V is okay if you want a small subwoofer. I am running 1 10sub at 200W from 4V. Maybe 100W will work? I’m sure there’s a good calculator somewhere for matching up voltage with wattage.

but can the little integra alternator even handle a big sub? for example if im at a red light with my headlights on the car idles lower but if you turn the lights off it idles smoothly at 750.. could just be my dirty idle air valve but i was wondering if the alternator is strong enough to support a sub?

I have 1 10inch sub powered off a 200W amp and it’s fine.

I once had it powering a 400W amp, no problem.

Your light dimming issue is most likely a poor engine ground. I have replaced all of mine amd cleaned their contact points. It makes the car run remarkably better.

I would also suggest going to an LED headlight setup. It really made a difference because that massive load isn’t trying to go through 30year old wiring!

thats intetesting because some of my dash lights dont work and i have traced them back to a ground that is next to the fuse panel in driverside footwell so i have wanted to clean it for a while

plus i get a quiet buzz when the volume is up and no song is playing so im pretty sure that is a sign of a poor ground too right?

Is the sound rising and falling in frequency when you rev the engine?

i dont believe so ill have to test it more
