Just trying to get an idea of what compressor and what lines to use when swapping a JDM GSR into my LS integra. Do I use the compressor from the JDM motor or do I use my stock compressor?
i did a jdm gsr swap and kept the original a/c components.
Thanks for the response. I’ll have to source the components then because my compressor doesn’t work. Anyone know if I HAVE THE OPTION to run the Gsr unit? I read a post on Honda-tech that said any ls or Gsr bracket and compressor will work but I want to be certain before I do anything
As long as it lines up with the ac belt that is on the crank pulley than you are good to go…are you planning to keep power steering too…
I was going to remove the power steering because the line that connects to the pump is damaged, so I planned on looping the rack and removing the lines once the motor was out.
you’re gonna need a b18a1 of b17 bracket for it to clear correctly, you should be able to use the GSR compressor, I was going to use the one that came with my engine, but the wheel was messed up, it would have worked though…
