I think I’m back to the b20 now I know I’ve been back and forth a lot. Anyway, now I’m concentrating my efforts on autocrossing. I was wondering if swapping in a vtec tranny would be the best thing for autocrossing with a b20. I think with the LS tranny I wouldn’t have to shift as often especially with the b20 because it makes a lot of torque down low and it wouldn’t be as important to stay at the top of the RPM range. I know a close ratio tranny would help out with 1/4 mile times but would the closer ratio tranny help out dramatically in an autocross that’s done mainly in 2nd gear with my b18a and LS tranny?
