what the heck is that knocking sound coming from my engine whenever i accelerate?..can someone give me an explanation on what the problem might be…thanks.
What kind of car is it
is your timing advanced? compression ratio upped?
try some higher octane fuel. see if that helps.
Just what I was going to say:) If it’s a GSR then 91+ octane has to be used. If you did any of the stuff that was just named then you would also need higher octane fuel.

The knocking sound that you would get from low octane will that be heard through the whole band or jsut lower rpms?
