i put the koni yellows with the drop zone coil over and i cant get them set up right one i cant not get the rear of the car to go any higher when i have the coilover up all the way it doesnt get the wheel out of the well i was wondering if this is common or if i messed something up
drop zone springs… I have never heard of them… Hopefully they are reputable. Your problem is that the rear springs are probably too short and made for a different application (civic or dc2 most likely). There’s a hybrid suspension thread on here somewhere. I think DC2 suspension is shorter than that of DA and DB’s.
If you want adjustability, I would get some better coil-over springs like ground controls. For regular springs without the adjustability, I would recommend H&R or Eibach(same company as GC). If you seriously want to keep these and raise it up, you’ll have to machine some spacers (not recommended).
Sadly Drop Zone are an ‘eBay’ brand and don’t have the best reputation… I would assume that they’re for a different application as dragon said.
i didnt mean drop sone im sorry i meant ground control im a idiot long week and weekend
how the hell can you mix up a reputable company like ground control and a ebay pos like drop zone? lol… but anyway… i wish i could help… i have never run into this problem… hope it works out!
I was also thinking how could he think he had drop zone instead of koni.
I have rsr spring f ing love them
^ What does that have to do with the topic at hand?
i didnt mix up koni with dropzone i mixed up ground control with dropzone and i have a lot of shit on my mind and wasnt thinking duh! lol
Make sure you got the right ground control kit (specifically for the Konis) I know ground control make kits for our car for different shocks. Is # 1015.02 the serial number to your kit? If not then you got the wrong one.
Thankyou i will have to check i think it is cause i had to call to make sure it was when i first got it thats why i dont under stand the rear is all the way up and my tires still are barly out of the wheel well and the front i can go up more and i know i have the sleeves right cause they are longer sleeves in the rear
