nice…how did it ride on the track?
Drove good…car felt tout…not to stiff…but in some of the harder turns, higher spring rates would have been better (track only).
The car feels very well suited for the street–it absorbs all the bumps and imperfections, e.g., driving into bumpy turns (their a lot of them in LA). On the track, I messed around with the adjustments and felt noticeable changes in handling…more to come next week…still finishing up.

Thanks, I’ll be doing something very close to this setup next month (instead of springs I’ll probably go with the threaded coil-overs because I’d like to drop the rear more than most springs allow). This article should come in use when I’m installing everything.
I’m thinking about getting the Ground Control upper mounts (http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/description.php?II=647) also, any comments on them?
Cool.
I think the GC mounts would be beneficial to the DA since the car lacks travel in the front. Getting them for the rear would be of cosmetic peace-of-mind IMO.
GC threaded sleeves along with Eibach ERS springs would be awesome for the track. The reps at Ground Control are VERY helpful. Just remember to be 100% honest with them and yourself when it comes time to communicate the car’s intended usage.
I might be upgrading the suspension to the GC setup…
Yeah, I would only get them for the front anyway. I was glad to see they come in another color than red (available in gray) also since I have a blue theme under the hood.
You are DA man! This is an old topic but a very good write up! archivethis
