Here’s a prime example of why I choose and frequently recommend Koni:
I hope that all of the places that rebuild the Koni shocks really go through all that and make them basically 100% brand new. Cause it seems that the going rate for a Koni rebuild is VERY close in price to what you can get them for new.
I think I’m going to have some Koni’s rebuilt soon (revalved to SSPS Race shock specs). Seems as if the most local place is in Canoga Park and is called Pro Parts West 818.888.8904 Hopefully all goes well!
imo i would only send it to lee@koni
sinces hes on h-t and works at koni i feel safe having him do it
True Choice built my Konis to double adjustable.
Colin - I should have given you a ride through the parking lot.
Duy, are yours vavled the same as the Race shocks? Or does truechoice have their own specs? And yes, you should have
Soontobe: I’m not sure if he actually does the work… I’ve been speaking with him about what will be best for my situation. I’ve also been in contact with Gordon from Koni NA. I’m sure that any place which Koni allows to rebuild their shocks is going to be fine. I doubt the compromise on that stuff… especially since it seems that there aren’t places around ever corner who are authorized by Koni to do so.
I’ve heard of strange, shocks are used in drag racing for some imports
The shock/struts are for mostly domestic drag racers, but we do have a honda strut. There specialty Is all domestic drivetrain parts but i did take apart a 240 rearend today so we can make a spool for it

Now that’s service.
Does anyone know if Koni requires receipts or “Your components be installed by a qualified service technician only.” for rebuilds or revalving?
That page would leave me to believe they don’t, but just checking.
