ok I’ll take any help I can get… If I were to but a set of koni’s from a dude that was using ground control sleeves with them, what do I need to run the koni’s with a drop spring instead of the ground control coilovers?
You would need the lower perch. It is a metal ring looking thing that slides around the body of the shock and has a place for the coil spring to rest on.
why would you take the ground controls off??? koni with ground controls is one of the best setups you can get…
I am going to assume that they were once on there. For $100 more you can get a set of ground controls instead of spending money on some plain jane lowering springs, and be a bazillion more times happier.
This X a million, one thing I learned is don’t cheap out on the suspension.
I would take the ground controls off because I just bought the H&r Race springs and cant return them
sell the h&r and buy/use ground controls.
