Kraz3one's painfully slow build thread

Hey! I been around for awhile just picking up tips and ideas from this website, been on and off with this project. Even considered getting rid of it, but now that it’s down I actually miss driving it.

Since there seem to be a lot of new people/build thread I’ll start mine.
I have a milano red integra db2, was all stock when I bought it other
other than aem intake.
Looks like I figured this pic thing out so :ok:

My interior is attached below its also all torn out at the moment I redid it once, and took it out again to hit things I missed.

Making the wife mad, cluttered up her room and took space in the storage room.

sitting on koni yellows with h&r race

Took the tint off which was a PITA being that the defroster fried the tint that was on it.

one pieces

Next on the list:
Exhaust and front bumper+lip

god i love how clean db2 interior is, cant wait to see those j speeds on there man!

beautiful starting platform

Thanks guys today I’m finishing up the headliner and I’ll post pics of the personal box and the tray underneath it which was a pain to line with fabric. Hopefully I get out of work early enough to so I have time before the wife and kid come home.

anyone ever tried reupolstering the rear cover? I have extra material and thinking about it

how did u remove the tint without messing up the de-froster strips?

Razor and hair dryer from the inside or heat gun from the outside. Take a lot of time with damage tint I barely had to pull over the tint being mine already had crusted up and fallen off over where it met the lines. Just heat over the piece that’s coming off and pull when when it gets hot or you’ll end up tearing it… Have some goo off and a rag to take the adhesive off since you dont want to use soap and a scraper.

Dude, sweet exhaust!!! lol. kidding. Looking good so far. Can’t wait to see the progress. Also happy to see another painfully slow build thread…mine’s getting too painful.

thanks sethman don’t know when I’m going to be back on the build just got some bad news and I’m flying back to cali for a few weeks on the 28th, so saving money for that trip… I’m stationed at McChord so going back to the hometown. If I get the chance I’ll post pics my headliner.

Looks like a nice project. Hopefully you’ll be able to find some time to work on her. Good luck man.

clean db2. nice platform to start a good project in for your build.
