just wondering if any of you are rolling on kumho tires. im thinking of getting the supra 712’s. i’ve heard some good reviews on them but just wanted to hear some of your opinions or experiences with them. i’m currently rolling on some kumho ecsta but not the supra. i’ve got about 40k miles on them but two fronts are almost bald due to camber problems. overall they were pretty good…noise level is acceptable but then i have my stereo up all the time so they may have not sounded that loud to me…wet and dry traction is very good - i only get a little chirp when i launch at 3k and im off with very little wheel spin. i have yet to lose total traction on them although i dont drive aggresively all the time i do sometimes drive like im autocrossing. i’m just hoping the supra’s will be just as good or even better than my current ones cause the tread pattern are totally different.
well buy them while you can, because next year there will be a whole new tire for everyone to jock…
like how everyone used to swear by yokohama and bfgoodrich,
then it was nittos & toyos…
this year i guess its kumho & falkens turn.
I have the 205/40ZR17’s (like everyone else:) ) and I think they’re pretty decent for what I paid. I didn’t need anything special other than something to get me from point A to point B and the occasional spirited driving urge, and these were perfect. Wet traction is not as good as my old BFG Euro T/A’s and I don’t really notice a difference between the two in dry conditions. Only major complaint is that one of them developed a sidewall knot that covered about 3/4 of the inside sidewall. Other than that pretty good tire for the $70/tire that I paid.
i’ve got kumho 711’s NOT 712’s like everyone. hehe, i like em better grip than michelins xgtv4, much sticker than toyo proxes h4. nice looking tire, BEST price ever. $28 a piece 195/50/15. 
no i did not get a special hook up, i just took time and searched online…

yah i got the same deal… kinda of downgrade from a my worn Falken Azenis… i miss those tires…

i think the price went up to like $48~$50 no longer on sale.
you should get the ecsta supras. they are very nice, i ahve no complains from them yet and they’re very sticky. i got all 4 for $300, thanks to trish;)
i got mine at discounttire.com, the price is now at $50 a piece…
