Kuppa's White DA build oooohhh yeeaaahhh
Did you route the clutch cable under the intake manifold/injectors? Looks so much better, was thinking of doing something liket hat myself.

Nice build~
I routed it above the injectors behind the the head/ VC

Still love the build. Can’t wait to see what else you do.

Talk about someone who loves his DA! You should get an award! I’m not a fan of PAINTED anything (dash, calipers, whatever) but you love that car and dont seem to neglect any of it. I love the heart you have for it and it’s always refreshing to see people taking care of their pride! Keep up the enthusiasm and effort! It even gets me motivated to do something to my car seeing the time you take to work on yours!

Thanks its been a love and passion stemming from child hood i have always had i thing for cars:hump:

damn, this was such an awesome build… all up until the painted interior… the ricer baby blue is so over done on interiors (late 90s)… you could’ve atleast done it a gun grey pearl or something… but bright blue… why… it doesn’t match anything… a white DA with bronze rims, are bright blue calipers really going to match? not hating or anything, you show lots of love to the DA and that’s all that matters really…

the color is apex blue an S2K color and the interior will get more blue later down the road along with it matches my VC if you didnt notice

got some more stuf for my retro ordered another projector and got my clear lenses. I also played around with a custom shield i made out of a soda can here are some pics of where im at with that stuff

still need to make a stronger shield and get it just right but looks really good so far

wow i just went through all 18 pages of this thread and all i have to say is you are a true enthusiast. I cant even change my own brakes lol, and you basically just built a brand new DA from crap. Keep up the good work! Do whatever you want to your car, its yours! You do everything the right way, and as everyone can see hard work has paid off!

took off this rusty piece cause i tore off the the flange at the end over a water main cover as you can see i just hacked it off

getting the header on and aligned

Tucks up nice only thing is it is hitting my oil pan

Monday i picked up this hood

That hood looks way better bud kudos

we are going to look at a house at 3 i wish i could man hanging out with you guys and working in cars damn.

Superstreet had a little line for painted interior trim on page 35 this is the march 2009 issue i think they said and i quote," Painted Interior Trim simply terrible! never take it upon yourself to decide what color your interior pieces should be." end quote. You guys should check it out it has a fancy picture to but in the car’s interior in the magazine its a lovely shade of purple. I am just saying you may as well throw in the vinal wrap seats with your name stitched in the headrest, for the rest of your car though i give yah props, but pick up the superstreet though its pretty funny what else they have in there :read:

Picked up my other projector the other day and went out tonight and started grinding on it. I figured i could get it around 3" tall and i did took alot more off the bottom since there’s more there. Also i got my new hood cleared it used to be a little cloudy even after i wet sand and polished it now its nice and clear. Now there are a few fish eyes from pin hole in the resin hoping i can wet sand then out cause they burried it with a whole bag cup full of clear. If not ill just have them sand it down one more time and give it another coat that should take care of it. Last but not least i got my shrouds ordered.

did some more wet sanding on my hood 1000 and then 2000 should look good when im done it looks good in the pic earlier but it was still cloudy now thats all gone

also worked on my retro a little too cut out some of the reflector and getting it positioned

looks good seth, me and my buddy are gonna be heading up to your place tommorow after i get off work k so see yah tomorow gangster

okey dokey

Are you using a bixenon HID setup or are you just doing a regular HID retro where you lose the high beams? I didn’t see the answer anywhere in your thread so I had to ask. Everything’s looking good.
