Are the KYB - AGX struts adjustable from the top of the strut or from the side of the body for our cars? In the front? In the Rear?
the fronts are adjustable on the top. the agx rears are adjustable from the body, but they dont make rears for our cars. i think you can use the civic88-91
btw, careful with the top, the markings can fade/scratch off easily as i did when i had it sitting upside down for some reason. i think i was on the grass hammering something off
what do the four #'s mean 1,2,3,4 on the front KYB AGX 4 Way adjustable struts
my guess is 1 is less stiff and 4 is more stiff
dont try the 88 civic they dont work , only 89-91 , theres something diferent on the 88 .
and about the adjusting it , u almost got it right , but is the other way …1 is more stiff then 4 .
also do a lil be more of search about install then with tein s-tech .

I’m assuming to get to a thread that old you had to search…
So we yell at you when you search too much and we yell at you when you don’t search at all. There is no win-win 
nothing wrong with searching.
but the question that resurrected this oldass thread had nothing to do with the original subject, other than it’s AGX-related.
there are probably 300 threads newer than this one related to AGX shocks, not to mention starting a new thread wouldn’t really have been a bad thing.
