Well the name of these coilovers are Excelon which i never new existed. They personally look like tom’s motorsport ones if you ask me. However after reading reviews over and over i decided to try one of these knock off brands and put it to a test. To see if these knock off brands can handle regular daily driving. I also decided that i would try Kyb gr2’s this time.
The specs for the excelon are 450F / 350R, Pretty light too with aluminum sleeves. They are 2 key adjustable from 1-4".
The car is a 92 Gs basically stock.
Day one of driving has so far been a decent ride. Not to bumpy, pretty stiff ,but over potholes is where i noticed the differance. The ride seem to be more controlled but yet more rough. I wasnt purposly driving over potholes =P but there is some on my way home now and then…anyways…
these seem to be a nice ride for people looking to upgrade on a budget. I would recomend these for daily driving but as for AutoX i have yet to test.
