Lacking smooth pick-up of power, power coming weirdly.

Hi everyone,
First of all I own a G2 Integra with a B20Z.
Never had a problem with the car, the car’s had a new distributor and alternator changed and was running fine for as long as i’ve owned the new engine. Also have all new spark plugs at the moment. My motor has this issue where the power/torque comes on REALLY weirdly, almost as though it comes up in squirts and in somewhat FRACTIONS during some gas. It’ll pick up really weird off the mark aswell. Any ideas people? i’m leaning towards timing but then again could be completely wrong.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated, thanks G2IC members.

I would check timing and also fuel pressure while driving. The fuel pump may not be working well and may be on its way out.

I’ll definately check timing and with that too i’ll check the fuel pump and keep everyone updated.
Thanks for you help buddy.

Check your plug wires. Could be your firing order too.

Okay, i’ve got updates guys. My timing’s fine… timing’s NEVER perfect as my mechanic states. As with the fuel? he’s still yet to check, my plugs are fine and in correct firing order.

The car has the normal smooth power band immediately after start up, as it reached normal operating temperature, THERE came the lack of power. The power is delivered in CHUNKS and slabs! and misfires a tad when I take it up under some gas (Needed to test). Brand new distributor, new plugs.

A friend says it MAY be my injectors that are failing, or what not, a fuel pump. Anyone else got ideas? I would like to know what it is so I can fetch out the correct amount of money, hopefully it’s not an expensive fix.

Grounds?

What ECU are you running?

Did this start out of the blue, or was it immediately after some change?

Grounds? which ground in specific should I look at? all look fine last time I checked. It all started out of the blue after my timing belt got re-timed on (My timing belt jumped beforehand).
Since then, it’s been a pig to drive. Once again people, all inputs are appreciated.

ECU is 0BD0

Any other ideas guys?
