hey all you lambo door people can you tell what brand u have and if you like it. is there a brand that make the door open both ways liek stock and lambo?
i want to shave my handles and get popers with the lambo door and have it all open with the touch of a button. does any1 kno how much this may run?
are there any good links to shaving the handes and installing the poppers?
I’ve always wondered with these door poppers. What doors does it pop? Do you have 2 buttons on your alarm or keyless entry? 1 for the drivers side and 1 for the passenger size? It’d be annoying if it popped both everytime and you had to close the passenger side door everytime you got in.
no i was looking at a kit and it said it comes with a new keyless entry remote with liek 9 buttons for lock/arm, unlock/unarm, drive door, passanger door, trunk and alarm. you can program how u want. i think if u hold the driver door it pops both doors

I just thought of this now, most door poppers I guess are meant for popping horizontal right? Well if you’ve got lambo doors they’ll have to pop vertical…
so 1) Will it do this?
2) would it pop it far enough so that the rest of the door swings open? or would it simply pop it a tiny bit and you’d have to pull it open the rest of the way.
I’d figure that out before you invest ur money into it.
i would recommend the Decah kit. I have had it for almost 2 years and no major complaints.
a door popper will NOT open the door vertical…a door popper only pops your door open not even away from the chassis. you have to still pull it open, it just releases it from the latch. autoloc has a motorized kit for around 2k or 2500. but that kit sucks from what i’ve heard…hope this helps…anything else just let me know
you have 1 button for each door. some have 1 button that will do both doors so that would be a total of 3 buttons…they are vary as to how they operate

Also to my knowledge Decha does not make an automatic kit. the only automatic kit is the Autoloc one. if decah does make one, i might have to call them and try to get one b/c i have yet to hear about it. Also Decah refers to their kit as VDC but verticaldoors.com has them as well but there is no reg kit to allow it to open normal and vertical…mine opens reg. but only maybe 1 1/2 ft or so
another thing that would be helpful run 4 or 8 gauge wire from your battery to your wheel well that way if your car battery dies you can move your mud flap and give you battery enough power to pop your doors just wrap the ends in electrical tape when not in use
yea you will def need a back up. ive heard many stories of peoples batteries dying and they have to bust their windown open. most people install a button hidden somewhere that manual releases the door. i do not know if that comes with the kit or not but many people do it that way
could u just modify the shock so it opens itself by adding a spring or stronger shock
no, all the shock does it take the weight off of you pushing the door up

I think shaved door handles is an extra step in security for your car,
I’m going to look into it, 1 less way to prevent them and/or slow them down is always good
Seeing as most will try the doorlock first
but im wondering if you could put a spring over the shock thats just strong enough to lift the door but still make it easy to close. just get some old valve springs maybe?
i dunno about that. what would the purpose really be of the spring tho? the shock does all the lifting and lowering for the most part
it cant lift enought to acutally open the door itslef it just has enough to let the door seem weightless so its easy to manualy open
What security? With any door popper kit there is an emergency button under the skirt or wherever that’ll pop both doors open without the remote. So anyone who knows about shaved door handles will know there’s a emergency release button somewhere under the car. That doesnt sound too safe to me.
