Me again, was feeling like whoring my DA a little more on here. :wahmb:
I know it’s a little early to put the DA in storage (Even for Quebec weather) but my firsts road tests are done and I have a lots of little bugs and things to do so I won’t have more time to ride her this year. I would love to have feedback about the car; things you would do, change, etc.
Less talks, here’s the pictures:
During the “Fix things” autumn before a real storage place…
Sorry to “The mod with blue teg” , no video. Maybe next year ahahaha!
Those are First Gen Advan TC wheel. Can’t find center caps but have 2 sets of SA3R caps that fit on them. I need to find shorter lug nuts or shorten the one I have to make the cap fit. It’s in the “to-do list” of the winter.
where did you find your harness bar?
thanks
-Drew
It’s a Harness bar made by a company that is not in buisness anymore (I think). I don’t remember the name, it was “***** Engineering”. I know it’s DA specific but can’t remember the brand >< . I think it’s pretty rare too.
Are the rims a bit more of a matte-finish, compared to the valve cover? Something looks off… If they were more of a glossy finish I think they’d look better.
Otherwise it looks perfect… The harness-bar is a nice touch as well. Black DA’s are sooooooo good looking, keep up the good work man!
Thanks! Original Paint on the wheel (From '95 IIRC). Thinking about respray them Phoenix Yellow from the ITR with the Valve Cover as well. I want them to stay Yellow, it’s not popular and I like it lol.
Vavle will be blue next year to match the little blue lips on the wheel.
Next on the list:
-Got my eyes on a nice set of Recaros.
-Pancake Racing (Hiro Replica) Spoiler, got the wing but need to make brackets for them.
-Respray Wheel and Valve Cover in Phoenix Yellow.
-Custom Cluster (Maybe, still unsure)
dang based on the first couple pics i wasnt expecting a k20 under the hood !!looks good. i would add a rear lip since you have the sides and front!!! i really like the yellow needles. what paint did you use?
This winter, I will be looking for an OEM Optional Rear lip that I will modifiy to fit with my bumper. (Notice the exhaust exit). If I have some extra cash, I would like to switch the CD5 Accord skirt for Mugen, Mugen Replica or OEM Optional, First and last choice are on top since I try to buy only legit parts.
The yellow needle were made with Hobby paint. I plan on redoing the cluster so I will try to do a better job next time with spray paint (Phoenix Yellow).
