Anybody have some good launching tips?

I know many are experienced on here and probably have been having their DA’s since 90.

By launching im referring to dead stop racing.
Me and my cousin make crazy runs every weekend and somehow his
EJ1 D16Z6 gets me. :shrug::think: Bull huh.

What happens is i will either rev it up to 3k then flouride[not sure of spelling] but then my car jumps as if i was a n00b on his first stick shift test drive…
then other times i’ll rev it at the same rpm and it’ll just go without a problem

what am i doing wrong? my b18 should easily stomp his d16. mechanically it’s fresh as hell nothing wrong with it.

so any tips?? :))

you take the 5 north till u get to LA lol

how is your clutch ?
dont rev it to high just do it like if your taking off normal dont try burning rubber.

naw nvm then haha, trial and error will do for me

my clutch is good, about 6 or 7 months old. but its fairly fine, never ahve a problem when im daily driving… i think its just the revs im taking it to or idk… wierd…

Maybe you should race against my DA. Its a stock ls w/ intake and exhaust.

just trial and error trt launching at different rpms until u feel that you have an cosistant and decent lauch
