can anybody tell me if there is a way of cleaning leaf stains. I left mt white teg out side for a week, and because ofrain a couple days before, the leafs stain alll over my white teg. I tried using car washing soap, but won’t come off. The stains look like rust, but I know its not rust!!!
you mean like sap?
Gas-Line Antifreeze (Methyl Hydrate) takes that off.
Apply generously to a soft cloth, wipe gently and repeatedely over affected area (don’t scrub hard because if there’s any bark or hard particles in the sap, it will scratch your paint).
Oh and it won’t hurt your paint, but if it would ease your mind, of course you can always wash your car with soap afterwards or just rinse it off.
And if that’s not what you’re talkin about, try a clay bar cleaner like Meguiar’s that comes with the quik detailier too. Clay takes anything off!
go to an auto body supply store and buy prepsall, Prepsall is a wax stripper that will remove
almost any stain from your paint. Just make sure to rince the car and put on a good coat of wax.
I second the motion for the Mothers Clay Bar. That thing worked wonders on my paint, and I swear by it.
Makes the paint feel like glass… even my 11 year old paint was like brand new after using this. Highly recommended, especially for situations like this one.
