its been a couple of days now and i notice there is a puddle only on my passanger side at the rear? (i have a sunroof) what could it be that is leaking? please help, it would be a bigg help =D
thanks!
is the puddle on the floor? or is it wet on the rear seat? if its the seat i think because the car is low because mine started that when it was lowered.
^^^its just on the floor, none on the seats. (my car is lowered)
thanks for your input!
ugh its raining so much right now, need help!
hmmm thats weird. it could be coming from under the car when you hit puddles. have you checked for holes under? or have you seen water spot on your headliner in the car?
i had puddles on my front n rear floors n i found out that it wuz rain getting into the windows because the glass touches the rubber on these cars so it doesnt do much thats why there so easy to steal cuz the window doesnt hide under metal at the top but i to fix it i just kinda pushed the rubber and i roll my windows up when the door is open then close it and make sure it went in the middle of the rubber…my cars lowered to like few inches off ground but didnt affect me i dont think…idk might not be same for u but u said it was rainin alot so idk
Mine did that when it was leaking the rear drain hoses.
there is a how to on fixing this problem if you search.
yeah i dont think its my windows, i did search about this but most people have the front air box water leak that i dont have, but i think its the rear hose.
visible - where did you find the leak? how do you get there/ take apart the rear?
thanks guys
so is there water in the front AND the rear? if so, i had the same problem. there was a lot of water coming from under the dash from the blower motor that it just traveled down to the rear
hope this helps
I had a problem like this. First I had water leaking by the blower which I fixed with the teg tip. I still had water leaking in through the seatbelt tracks, by the rear view mirror, and by the rear coat hook. It was all over the front and rear floors on both sides. I decided to do some searching and dropped the headliner down. To no surprise, there was obvious water damage on it and the particle board (?) it was made out of was drenched. I traced the leak to the top of the front windshield where it meets the roof and the rear drain area at the top of the rear hatch. I pulled out all the trim, bought some bathroom silicone (the black kind that comes in a caulk tube), and sealed the areas up. I put the trim back on once the sealant dried and I haven’t had a problem since then.
So, i recommend you drop the headliner down and see if there’s water damage on it.
Just my 2 cents
