I have heard people talking about the passenger seat getting wet when it rains or after washing their car. I have just recently had this happen to me. I was wondering if it is just the sunroof leaking or the seals around the window. I cant quite tell. but if it is the sunroof im not too worried because i will be getting a carbon fiber plug before winter comes. any help would be appreciated.
the most likey case is the seals on the windshield… but double check to make sure… get someone else to spray water on the car and stay inside the car to see if u can tell where the water is leaking from…
same problem here…trunk gets flooded also…
mines still flooding… have a big ass water leak in the back… it make it look like i got my own tub in the back … thought it was leakin from the drain hose but was from mine tail lights took everything apart for nothing…
well my taillights are sealed good. no water coming from them. i just replaced the seals recently. I will be putting a carbon fiber sunroof plug in soon to lose some weight so we will see if thats why it leaks.
Soooo. Lets talk drain lines, if you’ve got a sun roof. Or, we could talk about condensation for those without. Drain lines are about 3’ long and get stuffed into an elbow that turns and drains out the wheel well. Some noobs stick a wire or something all the way down the drain tubes and knock the elbow off. Voila! You got water accumulation. Or don;t clear the outlets. As for condensation, move to where Arizona is most sere.
bump fort wo reasons.
