first of all this isnt about how to condition or clean lether, i have a question about my personal experience with the conditioner i bought.
ok so i bought some turtle wax leather cleaner and conditioner last night for my ivory seats. according to the lable it has cocoa butter, aloe and some other softening ingredients. i folowed the directions exactly and when i was done the seats looked kind of shinny but this morning i got in the car and the seats where dull but looked much cleaner and not so brown like they use to but still felt hard. my question is if i keep using this will they eventually get better? and is it a bad sign that the seats got dull?? like i said they look MUCH cleaner but dull…??
i haven’t tried the turtle wax brand b4. ummm i tried this other one… i can’t think of the name right now. but its in a green bottle, with like bright orange lettering. there use to be a commercial on tv back then comparing it to armor all or some other interior cleaner/treater. i dunno if i can find it but yea it should still exist.
and i believe that stuff u got isn’t suppose to make the leather look shiny, it just conditioned it, which is suppose to make the leather softer n last longer. maybe give it a lil spray of armor all and make sure all the excess is wiped off so it doesn’t get onto ur clothes?
well i took the seats out last night an dissasembaled them and thourouly cleaned them and the front came out really clean but i rand out before i got to the bottom of tht back seat… tht guy that owned it before me smoked and never opened the window so the spots that where hidden where black… yuck!!! and the rear seat belts and front sholder belts where black i had to take them off and clean them… and the carped is almost black!!!..even after i took it out and washed it…
oh well atleast the seats are clean now!!!
