LED bumper lights not working

Hey

just picked up some 1156 LED bumper lights
i put them in and they wont work. is there something Im missing?

any help appreciated

I would try testing the lights with a 12v source first, to ensure they aren’t faulty. If they do work, I would inspect the grounds; LEDs tend to be more ground sensitive versus incandescent.

Flip them 180’ and see if that works

when you say flip them do you mean rotate the bulb in the socket the other way?
these dont need a resistor or anything no? been reading some stuff on that

He is speaking about polarity… If you installed it ‘backwards’ it may not work.

Flip it around and see if it fixes the issue.

tried fliping it , still wont go on,
i do have my bump lights spliced into the parking lamp so they always stay on, would that have anything to do with it?
