im installing led’s into the gauge, after installing it, i cant get the cable from the tranny to connect to the back of the gauge, and i also noticed that the dimmer starts to smoke when i turn on the gauge lights.
NEED HELP!!!
ok, i ended up finding that i ONLY connected the dimmer back, and it was getting a surge of power:bang:
now i need to know how do i get more slack to connect the speedo-cable
you will be able to feed some slack through the firewall giving you slightly more room to work. Your best bet in re-attaching the speedometer cable is to just pull the cable out some, and push the cluster in until you feel the cable going in, then just push and itll click.
