Legend front lip on G2????

Just a quick question!

Would a OEM Honda Legend front lip fit onto a G2 with a 90-91 front???
I’ve been seeing a few on the road lately and have noticed that they both have simillar lines and contour, not only that but I have also noticed that the OEM Legend fron lip looks very simillar to the ChargeSpeed Type 1 lip!!!

Any Clues???

I’m pretty sure there’d be alot of modification needed to fit it on… have you taken any measurements yet?

No not yet but I am planning to do so this coming weekend, if so then I shall mod them to make them fit.

That kinda looks like the OEM 90 - 91 lip Macross is selling. I have one, and they fit great.

Check out the thread for pics of it, and see if that is something you could use that will not require any modifications.

Actually, its like a perfect fit. just gotta trim the ends a little on each side. Just got one today.

Gonna spray it with one more coat of “trim black” paint, then ill put it on.
But i put it right up to the bumper and its pretty much a perfect fit.

I noticed there are two lips for the legends… one looks almost like the 91 OEM optional, and then there is a smaller one similar to a 94 accord lip, thats what i got.

WOW…you guys have dig up a really old thread!!! I have to thank you, because I would have never considered a Legend front lip! I think I might try it instead of the Accord lip I was going to try!

Now I feel like a dick. I just tried putting it up to my bumper and looking by myself. Well, its too wide. Don’t wanna cut a piece out… so, that was a major fail. Besides the width, the lines are perfect. I may try to make it work but Idk.

Don’t you have to trim it anyway to get it to fit. I know i 've seen someone who has done this…i can’t find the pictures.

Okay, got some spare time. Don’t feel like a dick anymore, I made it work. Haha. Just had to do a little trimming, and make some relief cuts. I wish it was a closer fit, cuz the other legend lip resmbles the 90-91 oem optional lip.

Yeah I wouldn’t even waste my time on that lip…lol sorry

Then don’t. Lol. Either no lip, or spend $4 and about 5 minutes. Haha, I chose a $4 lip instead.
