Light coat of nickel antiseize on distributer shaft ok?

So as anyone who has ever done anything in their distributor knows, the rotor can be a pain in the ass to get off due to corrosion on the shaft. My question is the same as the title. Would it be okay to use a lightly brushed on coat of nickel antiseize on the shaft to keep the corrosion from welding the rotor to the shaft?

Good question.
I personally see no problem with this, I’d use dielectric grease though, and it’s probably more important to put a dot of blue threadlocker on the rotor screw so you don’t have to kill it when tightening it.
