The chime that plays when your door is open and the light are on stopped working…is there a way to fix it?

i asked around and its the door switch. it controls all of that. Your going to have to take it out and check the metal contacts of the connection if that is fine its probably your screw that holds it is rusted. hope that helps.

by door switch do u mean the black tab that tells whether the door is opened or closed

yea its like L shaped near where the door latch is just remove it clean it and reinstall.

sorry to bring this back from the dead but i tried this and my headlight warning buzzer still doesn’t work. The dome light turns on and off when doors are opened or closed so it cant be that plastic thing in my case can it?

I think some people mentioned the fix bringing back the warning chimes. Also, you may have better luck with this problem in the electronics section. Some helpful people in there. Hope you get it fixed.
