anyone know of a good place to find a full or any kind of lip kit for DA’s?
Wings West, Vis (may still have somethin’)
If you want a kit for our cars, the best option is to piece one together. Here’s some parts & general info:
Available options for lip kit

FRONT LIP
Type R style
OEM Optional
JDP “Spoon type”
Hiro (rare-copies available?)
Accord (the lips from 94-97 will fit)
REAR LIP
OEM Optional
Mugen rear wrap
Accord 94-97
1st Gen teg front lip (will fit)
92-93:
FRONT LIP
Type R “style”
JDP Spoon style (Carbon fiber only)
REAL Type R lip JDM 98+ Integra
Type R “style”
Mugen style
Accord 94-97
REAR LIP
Mugen rear wrap
Accord & gen 1 teg F.L. (Most say they don’t look great ‘cause of the roll in 92-93 bottom- I’m tryin’ anyway)
96-98 Civic 2dr Type R rear lip (Saw this on an old post here- looks great IMO)
SIDE SKIRTS:
90-93
Mugen style
94-97 Accord 2dr
90-91 Integra OEM optional
96-00 Civic
94-00 Integra
Some guy said he did Jetta or somethin’ but no pics to prove.
These are what I know of. Others may be available but these are the most common. As you can see, many other Honda lips work, especially the Accord. Most Honda lips/skirts will require cutting & heat gunning to fit; but it’s not too hard. I just finished my 94+ teg skirts. I like. I’m converting my front bumper from 93 to 91 to use the OEM optional front half lip ('cause it’s cool)
Hope this helps.

Cool, thanks. Yeah that helps allot. I wasnt aware that so many different models can fit. I wonder if I can get a rear lip to make the exhaust tip go outside the passenger side. It would be cool and different, but that means i would have to have custom exhaust done I am not a big fan of custom exhaust. I like buying systems that are vehicle spcific more. Thanks again.
Yes, you can get a lip to do that. It has been done MANY times before, & I think the effect sucks. The exhaust is always hangin’ wrong or some similar problem. Go w/ the factory mount style; you’ll be happier in the end.
One more thing; if you don’t want a loud exhaust, or even a mid range exhaust, get the RSR ExMag. It is expensive ($600+ shipped) but totally worth it. I have a Greddy SP2, which is considered mid to quiet, & it’s too loud. I’ll be getting an RSR in the future.

I know i have to keep my car raised as high as the Tien’s will go and drive like 1/13mph over any little bump
Yeah that is what I am afraid of. Putting the tail pipe where there is no factory hangers could cause a lot of mounting issues and floping around. So I will probably go with a factory type bolt on system.
That is good to know about the SP2. That is what I was going to get even though I have never actually seen a SP2 on a DA or heard what they sound like. I will look into the RSR ExMAG. I was also thinking about having custom 3" pipe with a APEXI universal black muffler, but again I am not a big fan of what I have seen on DA as far as custom exhaust goes.
DON’T GET A 3" EXHAUST!!
No DA will EVER need a 3’’ exhaust unless it’s a high horse power turbo.
Your street car will suffer severely if you put that big ass shit on there. A daily driven car needs no bigger than 2 1/2inch piping, & thats a turbo or mid built NA motor.
It seems like you want the Greddy. In a honesty, I went to a G2IC meet yesterday & when the RSRs left, I knew why I chose the Greddy SP2. Its not too stocky, but it doesn’t sound like a ricey fart can. The tone is aggressive & low throughout the powerband. When you go full throttle, it ROARS!!!
Besides, when all is said & done, my SP2 cost $420 shipped. That was sale price, but you won’t pay more than $550 for one. The RSR is $660 shipped, & usually is on backorder or not in stock. Ask IMCNBLU, he just got an SP2.

Thanks, yeah the only reason I would want a 3" set up is for if I was to turbo down the road and to get the lowest exhaust tone possible. But it sounds like the SP2 has a good tone, and the Greddy web-site states that it can be used for NA set up or Turbo. And even if I did turbo I wouldnt go all out, I would just add enough HP that a Stock motor can handle without damaging internals.
Where did you order your SP2 from? That is a good price.
