Can some give me a complete list of all grounding points for the 90-93 Integra? I have been having all sorts of dimming issues and phantom electrical problems that just come and go. I recently put in a rebuilt alternator and a Optima red top battery and I still have problems. So now I want to check all my grounds. So if someone can give me a complete list of all the ground points (both interior and in the engine bay) that would be great.
I asked the same question at some other thread but no answer. We can’t be spoon feed is my impression. I searched and I found out the two most important grounds are:
Neg batt to chassis
Chassis to tranny
Chassis to Valve cover
My car has a short (jumper) ground at the valve cover.
And upgrade them to a 4 gauge.
I’m still debating if I should add more grounds from when I searched. Like to the starter or alt.
What did you come up with?
I’m mostly wondering about the interior grounding points and some of the smaller under hood ones.
The ones you mentioned are good to upgrade when your having dimming issues and stuff, which I planned on doing, but they are not hard to find info on. I’m wondering about all the other grounds. I want to check all the connections on all grounding points to make sure they are secure and clean. I’m having wierd elcectrcial problems that seem to just come and go and grounds are the only thing I can think of. I have the Acura service manual but I couldn’t find a list of all grounding points in there either.
Any help from people that know these cars in and out would be greatly appreciated.
There are a number of ground points in the engine bay, most will be on/around the rad support.
You will find most of the dash harness ground at the drivers “A” pillar, probably some at the pass. “A” pillar.
What are the problems you are having?94
