I’m looking for advice on the follow bodywork/paintwork that I need to do ASAP. I have 5 pictures showing different issues I’m going to be tackling in the near future. I’m basically looking for advice on the process I should use, and what sort of brands of paints to use, and what grades of sandpaper. etc etc. It will be my first time attempting any sort of body work really.

I was planning on taping off the area for this one then grinding it away, and then putting some tremclad red on it followed by a bit of sanding then by exact match paint from the dealer and some clearcoat. But I’m unsure if this would work well… if the tremclad is even nessasary… and I don’t know a good process to follow.

Here is a picture of one of my rear bumper side mounts completely rusted out, the other one is just as bad. for this I was going to take the bumper right off and do some fiberglass work, but once again I’m looking for advice.
Looks like the car was repainted before on the trunk and they dindnt sand it properly so the paint didnt stick. Honestly with the car being red and as old as it is you will have to repaint the entire car or its going to look funny. If you are doing that then great. Just sand the old paint to a smooth surface with like 400 grit and reprimer and paint. The fenders I would replace. They are so cheap its not worth the hassle of trying to straight them aout then to get the car back and see you didnt do a good enough job. The wheels are easy. Just sand them down with 400 grit and get the wheel paint from autozone is pretty good stuff from the pics Ive seen. Good luck and have fun!
Thanks for the advice, yes the car was repainted less than a year ago but of course it was a cheap job just to get it sold but I figure if I fix up these spots and then take care of the paint like I have been then I can make it last a long time. Those fender pics are the rear fenders, sorry I should have mentioned earlier, so I don’t really see those as being cheap to replace. thx again
No you cant replace that…I would take it to a skilled body guy to save you the headache. Body work isnt easy on Acuras or Hondas because they use such thin metal and it warps and dents So easily. Hey if you do it yourself you will learn alot though. I had to roll my fenders on one integra I owend and the stress caused the metal to ripple and look wavey. I had it repainted two times and never go it too look right. It bugged me but If I did it myself I know it would have looked worse because I took it to an awsome body guy.
