Looking for answers to a couple easy questions - Key Position tones

I need someone to confirm something for me. There are 4 positions for the key; Off, Accessory, Run and Start. Start is only engaged briefly to crank the engine. With the OEM ICU installed in your second gen Integra. If the key is in the Accessory position and you open the door does the key reminder tone activate? What if the key is in the Run position but the engine is not running, as it would be if you turned it past Accessory but you have not yet started the engine by turning it to start, if you open the door under those conditions does the key reminder tone activate?

I think we discussed this in the new ICU thread. Are you trying to determine if your door switch is working?

I can double-check, but I don’t hear ANY tones if the key is set to ON. The chimes only sound when in ACC.

I vaguely remember that but I wanted to make sure my memory was correct

The beep you usually hear when turning to ON is the seat belt reminder for the 4 beeps or so.
