It almost sounds like my brake pad constantly rubbing on the rotor. Not so much a grinding noise but a screeching like pads do against the rotor sometime. I don’t think it has the signs of a bad wheel bearing but could it be that or does it sound like the brake pads need replacing on the rear and maybe the caliper isn’t going back to its regular position after hitting the brakes. If i hit the brakes sometimes it stops for a minute. Any help is appreciated.
take the caliper off, and check the caliper mounts on the bracket that attaches to the back of the hub…
there are small rubber accordian looking pieces of rubber that flex when the caliper sqeezes…
on my caliper, one of those mounts was frozen, and the caliper wasn’t able to move around on the bracket, it resulted in grinding, and a bent caliper.
good luck
It is possible that those slider pins are ceased and u need to open them, clean them, put some new grease inside and close the rubber…they must be free to move…
did you just get brakes done?
