lowering on Megan Racing Sleeveovers

I just installed a set of megan racing sleeveovers onto my stock shocks on my DA, and the front is the same height as stock!? I put the rings to lowest point and there’s still about 2.5 inches of fender gap… Is it the shocks that won’t let me go lower? or did i do something wrong? I cut the bump stop in half, and used the little red tophat it came with…

u fucked up somewhere

post more details on what u did
its soo hard to tell right now

i put the sleeves over the shocks, put the springs on, slid the 1/2 bump stop on, put the red top part it came with, then the little washer on the shock, then the rubber piece inside the tophat, then the tophat… is that right?

and is it even possible to be slammed with these on stock shocks?

Take off that REd rubber tophat.

And yes, you can lower your car with stock shocks.

and that would do it? i kept it on the rear and it tucks perfect.

any other suggestions?

Physically, yes it’s possible. Why you’d want to do that I have no idea.

You’ll ruin your stock shocks in no more than 6 months. It will ride good for a few weeks, and then you’ll start to wonder…“why is my car so bouncy? I never remembered it being this bouncy before.” It’s because your stock shocks are blown.

i’m only gonna be riding these for the next month and a half or so until my friend sells his DA and sells me his k-sports, so I can care less about the shocks blowing…

but can anyone help me on what I should do to get this thing lowered?

Already did, what more do you want?

If it doesn’t lower your car, then you messed up on the installation somewhere.

Yeah as Stokeless said before… take off those red upper rubber tophat and you’ll be able to tuck your front tires. I have the same setup and it works for me. As for the back… you should do it also… the ride will be much softer after you take thos red upper tophats off…
