Lowering springs and Shock recommendations

im considering lowering my DA about 2 inches (which im hoping wont be low enough to scrape everything and making speed bumps a total problem), and need some recommendations for lowering springs and shocks…my price range is up to 600 or so for everything. any suggestions?

If youre in the bay area, and maybe have some used parts and can install, that would be helpful too. I know cutting corners isnt the way to go, but i don’t have the money to invest in the high end stuff.

Coilovers work too if you have suggestions.

Get at the dude thats in the bay that has those koni yellows and neuspeed springs. That’s a fairly good drop that should not create much problems. He’s in the for sale threads. You could go that route, and pay him 350 which is what hes asking, and then if you dont like the springs, get a brand new set of ground controls and sell the springs as collateral. That way you make up for the cost of the 300 dollar ground controls. I’d say do that. Lowering springs would suck for those insane inclines in Frisco. Coilovers are recommended.

Or if you dont wanna do that, fork over another 30-40 bucks on top of your budget and get a set of function form type 1’s.

i checked out the For sale, couldnt find it. then again im half asleep…also know anyone that can install if i do get some?

don’t got a garage i’m assuming? or never done it?

oh and here’s the post.
