Enjoy!
Nice! Have some ?'s though
Thanks for that Armaan! Please post again when you get some pics and details of the bottom end build-up.
Does Golden Eagle do all the block work? Resleeving obviously but will it be honed and decked there too? If so, will you (overboost) be shipping the pisons along w/ the block to golden-eagle to ensure that they will fit the new bores?
Do you have any idea what the endyn 84.5mm bore pistons w/ rings cost you guys? I’m still trying to decide if I want to go all out and get a b18a block resleeved, and if so, what sized bore. Stock LS is 81 and stock b20 is 84 I believe. Which bore will have the most cost effective pistons?
Thanks brotha!
Leif
Leif,
if you decide to bore out the LS go with the biggest bore… might as well do it once right? 84.5mm will give awesome gains for sure… we went 84mm on my friends LSVTEC turbo and it pumps out 522whp and 402lbs on TQ witha POS 8100 redline… granted this is on a full blow race car. but as u can see the old Domestic mentality of bigger is better applies here. usually with pistons that are forged you be paying the same with a 84mm piston and 81mm piston.
