Hey, I found a set of LS Mesh and just wondering if this is worth reparing.
If you can recommend grit # -> grit # that would be great. I would be trading it in my 16" konig feathers black with curb damage for 3 nice LS mesh + the one you see now plus ca$h (about 550). I don’t have a problem with sanding/wetsanding them and putting effort into it. I will probably end up painting them. thanks

i’d do the swap over and I’d look around for a 5th ls mesh, they’re pretty popular… I’d keep that one as a full size spare TBH…
But, I found a few things about polishing / painting online… as I was planning on doing a similar thing with some rims i bought…
Yeah, 550$ + 4 ls mesh, and no it’s not very popular here. Alot of them are winter rims and I’ve only found 1 other pair and I’ve been looking for about 4 months.
I have worked on rims that had winter damage like the mesh ones you posted and its sucks because the old paint flakes off in different spots and then the old paint is uneven. You can sand as good as you can and then primer and sand and repeat that untill you have a smooth surface. Or you could have them sand blasted and maybe even powder coated. Good luck.
