ls/v or ls

i have a block with b16 pistons(P30) arp bolts, head studs and main studs. gsr tranny. acl rod and main bearings and new thrust washer…i was wondering what would benifit me more…the block that i will mate with a stock b16 head or a b18b head with full valvetrain running on 403’s…

Need some more info. What’s the car used for? Daily driver? Weekend warrior? Do you want it reliable? Any power goals in mind? What are you looking to spend is a big factor. Give us a little more info and we can help.

sorry not to much info’s…well, block is already semi built…it’ll be mostly a weekend warrior…and yes i want it reliable…power goals…not to much in mind right now…but hoping to hit low 14’s-mid/low 13’s…money isn’t really a factor…but i don’t want to go turbo…i wanna stay n/a…I know what parts to get for either head, but i’m still in that delima between ls/vtec or all motor monster ls…

since money isnt a factor then i would say go ls vtec.

If you go LS/V to make it reliable it must be done right. If not, it’ll give you hell. I would go LS/V if there is a good shop in your area or you know someone that’s done it before and has proven they can build a reliable LS/V.
