hey, i have a 93 gsr head and b18a1 block. Im wondering if i can use 97 gsr cams in this head? Would i have to get the caps machined? Would i be better off using just a full b16 head?
oh yeah, and is it true you can use a 92-95 civic si sohc ecu for this swap?

all vtec cams are interchangable…so no, you don’t need to modify anything ot get the gsr cams to work in your b17a head.
yes a civic p28 ecu will work, however it will need to be chipped.
Cams will swap right in… B17 head= B16 head
same thing.
Which ECU you use, depends on what year your vehicle is.
