I did my first mod on my new car this past weekend. converted the rear to 92-93. After my last DA i thought i wouldn’t do another but i started to miss it so i picked up this one to fill the void. Once my other project that i just finished sells, if this thread is still here i will turn it into my build thread. This car is going in a different direction than my last one (for those that remember it 
).

The EH was my latest project. Its up for sale and as soon as i can get rid of it the woman will let me start this one. lol
Oh yeah and the DB1 has a sunroof. I really wanted this in it.
I really wished i could have taken the fender off the car when i sold it. I would have used it on this one as well.

It was my first “actual” car. I had it for 9 years and figured if i was ever going to sell it this was the best it was going to look. It was just time to move on. now look, Same song everyone else i singing, i’m missing it.

gotta love the db. ive had mine for about a year and half and i love it more and more everyday.
lookin good so far. now you need to convert the bumpers to 92 spec, get some 1pcs, dump it to the pavement, and then have me paint the car for you.
Pohanka Acura? Did you go all the way to Chantilly, VA for it? or is that where the car originally went on sale? cuz Pohanka is about 40 minutes from me. I used to go there all the time for my OEM parts. til I got lazy and started ordering online.

Yeah man. It was an after work drive kinda thing. It was the closest one i could find with the options i wanted and in the price i was willing to spend.
p.s. Im way ahead of ya. Already have some parts stockpiling in my storage. Just don’t want to put them on yet.
is it just me or do the wheels on the da look staggered could b wrong but the rears look bigger
the bbs are 17x7 +35 all the way around.

hey i have a ? wat is the difference between the 90-91 and 92-93 trunk i jus picked up a db1 and my trunk is jacked up and i need to replace it i like the 92-93 tails looks good

op has a pic of the 2 trunks. 90-91 tails dont slant as much and are red/white, 92-93 has the amber in it and points more to the license plate
so something kinda neat happened to my car followed by something not so neat.

on the way back a friend told me the motor started to give out. so the not so neat part is MOD #2
new motor! yay!..not really.
this is supposed to be the daily until the civic sells so going to drop a b20 in to get me around for the time being. just puts a little kink in the “parts money” i have been spending on parts im stacking up for when the time comes to get to build this car. Will have a pic soon for those that want to see it.
