i have an ls with a b16 tranny an the passenger side axel is leaking and the axel is kind of loose… i just replace the axels an it started noking again… am not sure if i need a b16 axels… or other axels that would fit… the ones that i have fits normal… an the tranny is leaking oil through the passenger side… i allredy replace the seal am not sure wat else to do… if anyone have some info plz let me know i dont want to burn my tranny…

you need to make sure the axle is sliding all the way in and locking with the C-clip inside the differential. Make sure you feel it click and tug back to make sure it doesnt slide out with ease. Youll know when it locks in the diff since the only way to pull it out again would be with a pry bar. dont change to different axles that arnt made for your car, I have a jdm b16 Y1 tranny and use the 91 axles for my car.
If for some reason you cant get it in all the way to look then try your old axle maybe yout doing something wrong or have someone else give it a go for you.

u think it could be my suspension?? i have lowering sprimgs an all my shoks are bad, so is my arm bushings… an in the front the springs were heated so it could be lower…

well is your axle inner shaft going in all the into the diff and locking or is it just in where it can slide in n out? you need to take some steps to eliminate possible causes and narrow it down.

William check this thread- look at the pic maybe this might help…

get a new axle and see if it slides all in and locks hopefully that does the job. I had the same issue and bought 2 extra used axles to avoid buying a oem acura axle and it still leaked. I fessed up and bought one from acura and it went in and locked. issue went away.
I dont advise driving your car if a axle isnt locking in the differential since it could cause the inner shaft to score or damage the splines in the differential, metal shaving will fall in the tranny.
Also inspect your lower control arm for any damage like cuts, scrapes or dings, if its bent or damaged in any way it will also make your alignment off point and give you axle problemes.
