what’s really good my people quick question I did search but only got wrong answers but for the people that have lsd and installed them before how much sould I pay for an lsd obx install and what’s all involved in the install. I have a new b series I’m puttin in and if its not a big hassle plan in getting one in since my block was already pulled thanks in advance.

stock jdm trannys go for 200-1500. you can find them on jdm engine import sites. or you can have lsd installed in your tranny. it takes some excperiance to do, thou ive heard. OBX makes a kit, i havent heard much good about them thou, theres a few others but i dunno the names. it would be easiest to just buy a stock lsd or a tranny with lsd already installed and put it in your car im thinking no more then $1500
about a year ago i installed an obx lsd in my 90 ls. hardest part was gettting the bearings and speedo gear off what was left of the stock differential. that was first time i had ever split a tranny. it was pretty straight forward. you can always have a machine shope remove and install the bearings and gears for you. a press comes in handy. only complaint i had was i had to switch to driveshaft sho axles after install but that could be my driving habits too.
If you’re going to get an LSD installed go out and get a then Quiafe. It costs a lot more up front but has a liftime warranty. They don’t care how you break it. If it breaks they send you a now one, no questions asked.
If you have the money get it done at gearspeed. I had mine done about 2 years ago with Jdm Type-R final drive,Quaife diff and carbon coated syncros. I think its one of the best investments i’ve made on this car.
