ok so ive had a couple builds goin have my 92 ls build goin had my 93 ls but i sold it to a friend and he totaled it 3 weeks later so i traded my ek for this auto db1
some history on the car it was one of my buddies wifes daily driver for a while car was sitting for almost 2 yrs then he sold it to another one of my buddies he drove it for 2 weeks and then we traded.
its a 1991 gs auto black db1
tan interior with sunroof and tan armrest

the good
car had no check engine lights
drove pretty smooth
everything was stock and worked
ac power steering abs heat all lights and settings worked thats about it lol

the bad
was side swiped so pass side and quarter was all banged up
pass tail light was broken
fenders hood and bumper all have damage and dents
carpet was shot and nasty
seats were ripped and had no rear seats
was slammed on cut rear springs and coilovers in front actualy drives smooth ish
exhaust was rotted
day i picked her up the waterpump started pissing antifreeze
the auto tranny was slipping a lil bit
power steering pump is noisy as hell
has alot of dings and dents

plans

convert to black interior
auto to manual conversion

the day i got her and some pics of thre rust and damage

so i decided to do a tranny fluid flush n fill so i baught some oem tranny fluid

i dont trust anyone so i changed all the locks and ignition sorry only had a pic of the ignition

so i also went to the acura dealership and got new oem keys made

also heres some shots of the rotted exhaust

so when i was on the way home with the 4 dr it was over heating
the thermostat was leaking bad so i did the water pump and timing belt
new waterpump

what was on the car. the blade fell apart and wasnt even connected

under the knife lol

old timing belt was the oem honda one basically slid off without effort replaced with an autozone one sorry no pic lost alot of pics when my phone broke

also replaced the battery distributer spark plug wires and also did an oil change and spark plugs
shes completely stock ac powersteering everything

also got rid of the 90-91 steering wheel for a 92-93 leather with stitching steering wheel
before

new steering wheel

installed

also started to conver the interior over to black
installed black ls seats and black armrest and swapped door panels and locks and handles to black

also had some oem sedan floor mats i threw in and some more pics of the interior



my cluster at night no check engine lights. let gas run down to get all the old gas out and see if gas light worked and it does

threw some beater rims with snow tires on her. this was first day i took her out and took her to work

just picked up an oem sedan spiolier for her

started getting parts for her new pass side fender
left is old dented one right is newer one

replacing the pass side fender

this was with the new fender on

had this gsr fender laying around so its replacing the driver side dented fender till paint

also had a oem optional lip laying around so im keeping the 90-91 front end for this reason

found these was before when the tail light was broken before i replaced it


also threw a roof rack on her that i traded a blown block for and one them ebay sunroof visors from one my old cars

i do alot of quading and dirtbike riding and also im a certified motorcycle techso i tow alot of customers motorcycles quads bikes ect so i had to install a tow hitch so i can pull my trailer
pulled the rear bumper and theres the curt hitch for the 90-91 style rear bumper

the hitch is suppose to attatch to the support but its rotted so i had to modify it so i can use l brackets to support the hitch

before modifacation

after modding the support to make clearance for the l brackets


heres with the bumper mounted and bolted up

with the trailer attatched ready to tow my quad to the shop


we got almost 4 feet of snow in the nemo snow storm
beggining of the storm

my db1 is in the front left u can see the roof rack theres also my other 4dr in top left my red da an audi a6 and a 350z

i had sold my old da to my boy he totaled it but still owed me money so i took it back and parted it out. i was lazy so i pulled the motor out with my db lol


called the junk yard to come get the shell had no suspension so i pulled it out the garage with the db1

took the car to my boys shop and he started working on the quarter panel
