my teg has a real lumpy idle now tm im bouta clean out my IACV and flush my coolant to see if that will fix the problem but i wanna see if any1 else has had this problem and what they did to fix it.:read:
ok so to any other ppl than andy. now that ive cleaned the IAC valve out my RPM sits between 2 and 3. now i know this is very low and low idle is good but is there ever too low? it dosnt sound like its about to die but i wasnt sure if RPM this low is good
since you have a steady idle the next thing i would try would be the idle screw. Dont forget to jump the ecu;)
yea i tried to raise my idle but i tightend it all the way and it had no effect.
and how do i jump my ECU?

jump on it
some one correct me if im wrong but that might be why it idles at 200-300
the idle screw is supposed to let air past the throtle plate so that the engine actualy has just enuff air to idle. with it be tightened all the way down. your starving the engine for air, hence the low idle:think:
jump on it
same one you jump to read the CEL
u sit ur fat ass on the ecu foo and it will work =) hahaha
well ud have to jump on it andy cuzz ur like 4 ft tall 100 pounds lol.
now that ive cleaned my IAC valve and let my coolant get all the air out i still have a lumpy idle sometimes but not all the time. my idle screw dosnt seem to to anything no matter how much i adjust it. do i need a new throttle body? new TP sensor? help me out. this shit is pissin me off.
