Yesterday’s Madison meet at Warner park had a great turnout. I was suprised at how many people showed up. At one point I’d say there was well over a hundred cars. Although the sun wasn’t shining, people still showed up. We were fortunate for it not raining, although most thought it would. Not only were there some really nice cars, there was also a couple of small races/show-offs; including a race between a very nice NSX and a 300ZX TT. I have it on video, but i need to find someway to transfer it to the computer so i can post it. Same with some pictures. I’m sure there are other people that took some digital pictures/video so we should post em. Thanks to all the people that showed up. Let’s do it again soon!

man i miss out…daintegra… i should of went but something came up maybe the next meet.
The next meet is gonna be on june 26th. What do you guys think about getting this meet organized as a show. Categories go as follows (sorry if i leave out a couple, but just for an idea) Civics, Integra, Prelude, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Ford, Dodge, Saturns, Chevy, Mazda, Toyota, Nissan, VW and MISC. Then have everyone that wants to participate pay a 5-10dollar fee in order to get registered. This way you can eliminate spectators with stock cars. The winner comes out with a certain percentage of the entry fees and maybe trophies. Show cars and speed cars get judged by a judge that is gonna be none bias and knows his or her shit. Show cars on one side of the parking lot in order of thier catagories and spectators cars somewhere far far away. No racing, no burn outs, no litering, and free food on the grill. I want to be able to get some higher quality cars there and this is the way to do it. What do you guys think??
Categories subject to change depending on the interest of people that are comming.
Another tool to help keep things organized is that fact that people won’t be able to sign themselves up. Only me and richard (guy making the link) will be able to sign people up. Then at the meet we’ll have printouts and check list in order to get the money from people. One half of the parking lot will be blocked off for show cars to enter that side only. The other half and the rest of the park will be for spectators to park. this way we’ll have all of the quality cars in one area and others that aren’t so serious and just want to watch in another area
Everything is still up for discussion except for the date which is June 26th so let me hear what you guys think!!!
i think it sounds great but what if your just there to watch and hang out then for us would it just be like a car show or something ?
I change my mind…No car show (FREE), just a meet with some food and quality people to shoot the shit about cars.
June 26th
I’m glad we’re gonna organize another meet. It would be a good idea to have a car show/contest, but just a meet that had more people would be good. It was nice to just talk with everyone and see people I haven’t seen in awhile. We should figure out how to get more people to come. Hopefully more people will show up in June due to the nicer weather and summer convience. It was fun to roll around on East Wash. later that night, even though construction sucked ass, and progress was all wet. Oh well, it was still fun. Looking forward to the next meet!
was there alot of people daintegra?
The official count was up to 215 people at one time. The main high lights were…Evo, turbo upgrade and more, STI upgraded BOV, JIC exsaust, every civic had a swap and there was a grip of them. Lots of integras, two with JDM front ends. EP hatches one with a turbo kit. Supras, Rx-7, NSX, BMWs, 300z twin turbo. People from five different states showed up. IN, MI, MN, WI, IL and IA. Damn, you asking if a lot of cars showed up…You missed out if you weren’t there. Definatly the biggest thing to hit up Madison in a long time for imports!!!
hey daintegra you got my email so keep me updated when the time comes.
