ok i searched through and didnt get an answer for this, and just wanted a little clarification on location.
where should the ground wire going from the transmission>chassis be located? (pictures great if possible)
would bad grounds cause the car to die when put into gear but still start ok?

The chassis ground is located under the batt., [batt. “box”].
Although it is possible that a bad ground could cause the car to stall, however it is unlikely that is your problem as the starter works, a starter motor requires a lot more current to run then an engine does, so a poor ground would have a much greater effect on the starter motor.94
