Major wiring problem. *SEARCHED*

Recently I had my radio stolen out of my car and of course they messed something up in my wiring. Now the clock wont turn on unless the dome light is in the off position, and when i try to turn on the push button lights above the front seats, my door ajar light comes on and the rear window defroster button light flickers on and off. Anyways i still have bare wires but none of them are touching and last night ALL of my dash lights went out. signals and all warning lights still work but lighting for the gauges is gone. What could this be? I have searched EVERYWHERE and havent found a thing.
Fuses?
Wiring?
???
HALP!?

Thanks,
Ben

Fix all of the bare wires, sounds like your wires are shorting to ground. Probibly shorting to the dash framework somewhere.

First things to check are the fuses…

Fuse 14 - 15A, [hot at all times] 12V+ power for clock/dome and map lights.

Fuse 11 -15A, [hot when park/head lights are on] 12V+ power for dash lights.
If your G2 is a 90 W/DRLs check fuse 1 -15A

Fuse 23 - 7.5A, [hot in run and start] 12V+ power for door/trunk open indicator in cluster.

Test above fuses using a meter, just eyeballing them is not a good way, or replace them with known working or new ones.

Also check the radio harness, [stock] makes sure the red/black lead, [illumination] is not shorting out, cap it off if not being used.

Check the white/blue lead, [radio memory/power, fuse - 14]

The yellow red is radio switched, [acc., fuse 22 - 10A] power, but should not have any affect on your problems. 94

Popped open the fuse box and found that 3 fuses had blown. all were numbered 15 and replaced them all. All problems are fixed. Now i just need to wrap thoes bare wires so this dosent happen again.

Thank you for all who gave a helpful response!
